High School

Senior Spotlight - Kevlee Kelln

I'm Kevlee! I have been going to school in Shattuck since pre-k. I have one younger brother, Adam, and 2 dogs: a husky named Draugo and a King Charles spaniel named Dink. My favorite class this year is food science class.

After high school, I plan to receive my communications degree. After college, I want to go to a cosmetology school to learn how to do hair, nails, and makeup for weddings and events. In my free time, I enjoy painting, doing photoshoots with my friends, and shopping.

Have a great senior year, Kevlee!

Habitat for Pigs

Students were tasked with building a habitat for pigs based on what is needed for them to survive and thrive. Students teamed up and created their version of what is needed for their pig. Ms. Cummings class has been reading Charlottes Web and learning about the life cycle of animals and other living things.

Check out "more photos" to see everyone's projects and what they put in their habitat. I'm pretty sure I saw Charlotte the spider in one of them!

Staff Spotlight - Tegan Jones

My name is Tegan Jones, and I’m a 2021 Shattuck graduate. I returned home to teach and coach in my hometown because I’m proud of our Indian tradition of pursuing excellence both in academics and athletics. I graduated from Northwestern with my bachelor's. I played college basketball for four years! High School & Collegiate sports taught me about grit, perseverance, and heart, and I’d like to help pass those traits along to my players. I’m teaching JH social studies and helping coach softball and basketball. My faith is very important to me!! I love to play golf, hunt, fish, and check cows in my downtime!

As a third-generation teacher, I chose this profession because I want to be a positive light/ force for good in the lives of kids and their families. I really enjoy children and helping them through all milestones!

Picture Day Tuesday!

Yearbook photos will be first with sports pictures to follow for JH/HS Softball, 5/6, JH/HS Football and then JH/HS Cheer.
