2021- I am currently teaching 6-9^th grade English Language Arts.

2008-2019- Higgins ISD (Higgins, TX)

I taught a variety of different classes including:

6-8th grade ELA, High School Reading Improvement, High School Speech, High School College and Careers.

I am married to James Thompson, and we have been together for 13 years.  We have one son named Parker.  We are excited to raise our son in a community filled with traditions and value!  Not to mention that Shattuck’s school colors is Parker’s favorite color RED!  We have one very spoiled English Bulldog named Lottie, and a three legged Pitt Bull named Scout that is a gentle giant.  

I enjoy going on “adventures” and making memories with my child and husband. I love to cook, do anything crafty, and do wood working with my husband.  We also like to go to the lake and take mini vacations!  I like to say that floating the river in Tahlequah is my “happy place.”
