FFA National Awards

By Teagan Charmasson

On Tuesday October 27, former Shattuck FFA Member Duke Kelln was recognized on the live streamed 2020 National FFA Convention, for his excellence in proficiency. Duke qualified for the top four in the nation under Agriculture Mechanics Design and fabrication. He has worked on several projects over the past couple of years and throughout his high school career. Some of these have included everything from auction trailers to benches and cookers.
Duke was very active during his time as a Shattuck FFA member. His talent and dedication in the ag mechanics shop led to the creation of his own company, Twisted Duck.

Along with Duke’s proficiency recognition, he and former Shattuck FFA President Kaylee Holt, received their American FFA Degrees. This national honor is only awarded to around 5,000 FFA Members annually. We congratulate Duke and Kaylee for their outstanding accomplishments and achievements in our local, state and national FFA.
