On December 5th Mr. Mike Klumpp from ATV Ride Safe Oklahoma came to Shattuck Schools to demonstrate to the elementary grades 1st-5th how to safely ride ATVs. ATV Ride Safe Oklahoma is a joint initiative led by The Children’s Center Rehabilitation Center, Trauma One Injury Prevention at OU Medical Center, and the Oklahoma State Department of Health. The goal of this demonstration is to provide safety education and injury prevention information for the operation of all terrain vehicles (ATVs). The FFA Students who assisted were Ashton Tomlinson, Aisley Neubauer, Raedyn Magness, Leo Torrez, Teagan Charmasson, and Sarah Travis. Mr. Mike Klump also visited Shattuck back in November to present this demonstration to grades 6-12.
