My name is Tyson Bullard, I am married to Micah Bullard who has taught kindergarten at Shattuck since 2003, and we are both graduates of Shattuck. We have two girls Sayler and Tayzlee. We enjoy spending time outdoors, traveling, and following our kids’ activities.
I have been the superintendent of schools since the 2017-18 school year. After graduating from Shattuck I attended Northwestern Oklahoma State University in Alva, graduating in 2002 with a bachelor's degree in high school math and coaching. After teaching and coaching for 10 years (the last 8 at Shattuck) I left education for a year and worked in the oilfield. A year later I returned to Shattuck as Dean of Students and began my master’s classes at Southwestern Oklahoma State University graduating in 2015. I then completed the superintendent requirements through East Central University.
Shattuck is a special place for me and is a great place to raise a family. I am excited about the progressive nature that the school and community have and the support the community has for the school. Here at Shattuck we work hard to provide a well-rounded education for our students, offering a wide variety of opportunities for our students to learn and develop the skills needed in their future.
